Kalinga Marine Exports (KME) was set up in 2017 to provide hygienic and top-quality dried fish and dried food products. The major aim of KME is explore domestic and international market for exporters and customer requirements. Also, for the way to provide the best possible service at highly competitive prices, a result of being a small yet very flexible and motivated team with low overheads and quick decision-making process.
In August 2017 we had a MOU with ICAR-CIFA for Value Addition of Fisheries Product like Nuggets, Fingers, Drumsticks and Popcorns. Under the MOU we have incorporated the utilization of fish,Shellfish and Prawn biproducts for . Further we ventured into development of Organic liquid Fertilizer like Plant-O-Boost, Agripest-O-rid which is organic growth promoter and pesticide respectively. Vajra is powdered organic manure. The entire developed products are in Pilot Scale processed, Packaged and Marketed in the wholesale and retail outlets. Market study has demonstrated encouraging result.
Vision
The ready to eat fish products in Odisha as well in the country are very less in the market. With the increase in urbanization consumers very much interested for getting a ready to eat products in lieu of that we have ventured into frozen finger, drumsticks, fillet, and popcorns. Processed and packaged dry fish products with solar dryers in collaboration Integrated Coastal Zone Management Project (ICZMP) Odisha are developed hygienically under the brand Ocean Delights. The product has shown excellent marketing potential in Odisha as well as outside.
Bio refinery of fish and shell fish/prawn processing waste through fermentation technology has led in developing Plant-o-Boost, Argipest-O-ridd, Vajra and Pet Hygiene. Various Bio refined fish and shell fish waste has led to developed amino acid, fatty acid, micronutrient, ketoses derivatives, Keto Oligosaccharides and their blends has led us to bio organic liquid fertilizer, Bio organic broad spectrum Pesticide, Hygienic products for Pet animals and Veterinary sciences and powdered Organic fertilizer are developed in collaboration with ABI- to promote agriculture, horticulture and hygienic Pet-Care System.
